This enrolls you in a recurring membership billed to your card each period, starting once the recipient claims their gift — not today. You can manage or cancel it anytime via the link in your receipt email. Stripe's own billing page may call this a “trial” until that first real charge — that's just their label for “nothing due yet,” since today's payment already covers the recipient's first period.
